.B Mkfad
reads a list of files from the standard input, such as is generated

and generates a FAD file (See

Suppress the writing of CRCs; this will considerably speed up the process of
collecting the data about each filesystem item, but will make it impossible 
to distinguish files whose contents have changed.

Writes the database to 
.I outfile\fR.
The default is to write to standard output.

List the compiled-in paths of various files and directories that
