  * unset TERMCAP before running environment cleansing code
    as TERMCAP value doesn't go through it very well.
  * added 'BUGS' file
  * removed release dates from man pages and replaced with a 
    token which aderel substitutes.
  * added ignores on several output files from tests
  * environment is purged near top of scripts in order to ensure
    much more consistent behaviour out in the field.
  * changed typeset's to local's after an ADE standard test to
    find such things failed.
  * added draft man pages.
  * added support to aodms-helper for stand-alone maintainer scripts 
    by embedding aodms in them (NB. default is *NOT* stand-alone and this
    probably has to be changed before release!)
  * aodms modified to take application-specific functions file from
    command-line specified argument and not to slurp it from stdin.
  * miscellaneous svn property fixes and keyword additions.
  * check-pointing. Works with mumc better :-)
  * check pointing - now works with mumc.
