The Animal Guessing Game is

• a very simple AI program which asks you to think of an animal and then, by asking a series of questions, tries to guess what the animal is
• able to save it's brain on exit so it doesn't require retraining next time
• a well commented, cleanly compiling ANSI C program which uses linked lists, pointers to pointers, and optionally at compile time supports tree balancing and foreign language messages
• written in ANSI C - it compiles cleanly
• capable of identifying examples of any entity type, not just animals
• not accompanied by any documentation other than source comments and a copyright notice, and an example brain file
